Privacy Policy

The shortest accurate summary of this policy is that Qovrenza does not ask you for anything. What follows explains the small amount of information that exists anyway, under the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act.

01 · Accountability

The site is operated from Canada by Elise Tremblay, who is the individual accountable for the handling described here. One address covers every privacy matter: [email protected].

02 · What is never collected

No page carries a form field. There is no registration, no reader account, no mailing list and no comment box. Nothing on this site asks for a name, a phone number, an address or a payment detail, and nothing here is capable of receiving them.

03 · Server records

The hosting provider keeps standard web logs: an IP address, the browser identification string, the moment of the request and the page requested. They exist so that the site stays up and so that faults and abuse can be traced. They are not linked to anything else and they are not used for marketing.

04 · Email

Writing to the address above creates a record: your email address and whatever you wrote. It exists because you started the exchange, and it is used to answer you and for nothing else.

05 · How long each is kept

Server logs follow the hosting provider's retention schedule, which does not run beyond six months. Correspondence is deleted once the matter is settled, and in any event within a year of the last message in the thread.

06 · Nothing measured, nothing sold

There is no analytics tool on this site, no advertising pixel, no social widget. Every stylesheet, script and image comes from this domain. Information is never sold, rented or traded. The hosting provider handles server logs on our behalf under a written agreement.

07 · Commercial messages

Qovrenza sends no commercial electronic messages, so it neither seeks nor stores consent under Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation. A reply from us is always a reply to something you sent first.

08 · Following a link to Google Play

An install link takes you to Google, which handles information under its own policy. We receive nothing about what happens after the click and can see nothing of it.

09 · Access, correction, complaint

You may ask what we hold, ask for it to be corrected, and ask for it to be erased. Requests go to the email address above and are answered within thirty days. If the answer does not satisfy you, the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada will hear the complaint; residents of Quebec may also approach the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.
